An Accessible Fourplex
In the United States, fourplexes must provide wheelchair accessibility for ground level flats.
Building 4214 is 48 feet wide and 36 feet deep, or 48 feet wide and 38 feet deep including the stairway. Each unit has a conditioned area of 808 square feet. Wheelchair accessibility is provided by 36 inch passage doors, and by large turnaround areas in the bathroom, kitchen, and utility room.
